Capacity Building

Agencies and organizations that manage environmental concerns rely on research to refine programming and meet the changing needs of the environment. Yet the programmatic demands of these organizations often hinder the staff’s ability to follow research findings and evolving scientific consensus. To ease access to research, the MAWP offers tools, trainings, and workshops to build the capacity of the management community and facilitate the incorporation of the most current science in the programming that protects natural resources.
